A Challenge I Will Overcome

Today, I felt like I failed miserably. But not with exercise! I am fully committed to changing my life this time, with more realism. This helps me avoid extremes, like crazy diets and excessive workouts.

Currently, I do Cloe’s classes three times a week. My eating habits are more structured, and I’ve adjusted my meal times. This way, when lunchtime comes, I don’t eat like an angry capybara (lol).

My eating routine has been more balanced:

Breakfast: Pre-workout, coffee with bread and eggs.

Post-workout: Soy protein shake.

Lunch: Smaller portions, no overindulgence.

Afternoon snack: Corn couscous, tapioca, or oatmeal with fruit.

Dinner: Reduced portions, focusing on essentials.

With this routine, I already feel so much better. My anxiety is more controlled, and for the first time, I feel like I’m overcoming binge eating.

So, where did I fail?

I simply can’t take progress photos. Today I tried, but when I saw myself in the picture, I froze. A deep sadness took over me.

I have been struggling with my weight since childhood, and I always felt like it was winning. Anxiety and binge eating always won. But now, little by little, I am the one winning.

Still, looking at myself in the mirror is a painful process. And taking this photo has been an enormous challenge. But it’s a challenge I will overcome.
