These chipotle spiced nuts are smoky, savory, and so flavorful. This recipe uses a secret ingredient so no oil is needed for the seasoning to stick! The perfect high-protein snacks to have on hands for when you’re feeling peckish!
INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups raw nuts
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/8 tsp ground cumin
- 1/8 tsp oregano
- 1/4 garlic powder
- 2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 300ºF / 150ºC and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, add egg white and whisk until foamy.
- Whisk in all the spices and seasonings.
- Add raw nuts and mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer nuts to lined baking tray. Arrange them in a single layer. Bake for 15 minutes.

NOTES
- The nuts will keep in an airtight container in a cool and dry area for up to 2 weeks.
- The egg white allows the spices and seasoning to stick without the need for additional oil. Don’t skip it!
- For the nuts I used a mix of almonds, macadamia nuts, cashews and petitas, Feel free to use any nuts or seeds that you like, just make sure they are raw.
- Feel free to replace brown sugar with any granulated sweetener of choice.
