DESCRIPTION

These 2-ingredient, crunchy, savory roasted tamari almonds cannot be easier to make. If you have 20 minutes to spare, you can make this nutritious, moreish snack!

INGREDIENTS

  • 400g raw almonds
  • 50ml low-sodium tamari

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 320°F / 160°C.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss almonds with tamari until evenly coated. Transfer to a parchment paper lined baking tray in a single layer.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, give the almonds a toss, then bake for another 10 minutes or until almonds are dry and crunchy. Keep in mind they will crisp up more as they cool.
  4. Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container. Enjoy!

NOTES

  • Enjoy these tamari almonds as a delicious, nutritious snack, or chop them up and use as a crunchy topping for salads, nourish bowls or noodles!
  • Baking time can vary depending on your oven. If your oven tends to run hot, check the almonds closely towards the last few minutes of baking to make sure they don’t burn.
