Can I skip rest days?

So I am currently doing the 2024 weight loss challenge and i just finished day 1 and usually when I start challenges and get to the rest day take the rest day and then it's like rest day for a month I feel when Icut the cycle it's hard for me to get back to working after 2 rest days so can i skip them or that is bad please help i want to make sure it's ok to skip my rest days or I should just take them but do some type of movement or like i did a small workout? Rest days are incredibly important, and skipping them consistently is often a good way to injure yourself or just burn out. You can still be active on a rest day, the suggestion is simply to pick something lower impact like yoga, stretching, taking walks, etc.

My perspective is that if you're consistently quitting a workout program after a single rest day, that's an issue that you really do need to work through. You will always, inevitably, get sick or busy or have some life thing come up, and you have to build the skill of being able to take a day or a week off without it derailing you.

Only a professional like a doctor or registered dietitian can tell you if you should aim for high/low of any macro nutrient. Personally, I feel my best when I eat a balanced diet!

And that looks like a fun workout, but it doesn't look like a rest day to me ;D You can do whatever form of activity feels good to you, but something like gentle yoga or taking a walk will give your muscles a better opportunity to rest!
