Programs
Hi everyone I have a question so when doing a high impact workout I see a faster result and I lose weight more and when I do a program that lower impact and longer I don't see results and I don't see as good results so should I stick with the higher or just do the lower with some workout videos (edited by moderator)

well, i think it depends on your current state/metabolism. if you feel like you want to do the high impact, then do it (with control). low impacts are used as an alternative who can't do it properly because injuries or such, but it's okay if you want to do the low impact because you're tired. everyone's stamina are different.

hey,
I think that low impact versions are there for those who cannot (various injuries, too high body mass, too weak part of the body, 'bad day') do the regular version given day or in general. You don't have to push hard each and every time - feeling tired and overwhelmed/demotivated sounds like a very good reason to get to low impact versions as well but programs are designed with 'regular versions' in mind for the best results. Any version will give you results - it all depends on your starting point and effort :)

Everything depends on your metabolism and the work you are putting in. It is obvious if you do a high-impact workout it gives faster results. Though low impact is slow and takes time for results because your body is not getting the high impact as you are doing a slower and easier version. It is not like low-impact does not give great results you will just need to be patient and consistent if you are choosing to do the low-impact workout. However, I am not an expert and nor consistent so please do not come at me if you do not like the reply.

I have difficulty doing jumping planks because they make my shoulders strain a lot and make me tired for the next one 😩 I do it for fear of injury but I think I'll try to do them from now on! so painful 😭😭

Tbh planks are really hard for me as well. Though they are really helpful in strength training and for abs. If you find it hard you should take it slow and do it on your knees. Gradually you will find it easier on your knees so you can challenge yourself to try harder version. Also about the pain if it is a lot you should consult a specialist and then only continue. Hope you have a nice day:)
