warm-ups and cool-downs

(sorry for my English right away. it's not my native language, so I'm writing with a translator).
I have an interesting (for me 😆) question: is it important to warm up and cool down every time? I'm asking because I won't have time to complete them in the next two weeks. will it change much?

I do them 9/10 cause it helps in recovery but if you have time the 5 min ones help too. I mainly do the warmup especially when for hiit or high intensity workouts. And I like the cooldown cause it helps in recovery, reduce soreness, and increase flexibility. But you don't have to every time, it just helps a little.

I've been working out since October off and on and I've never really done warm ups I've been fine. (edited)

Chloe has shorter warm ups - so if you are on a program with longer ones maybe just do a 5min one - that should be possible? And then a short stretching after

can I replace the warm-up with a short fast walk? and stretching with a hot shower?

The main purpose of a warm-up is to get you ready to work out, so you're doing various movements that prepare you for a safe and effective workout. This means using multiple muscles/muscle groups and different planes of motion. A brisk walk would be better than nothing, absolutely, but it's not really achieving the same goal ♡

Warm ups and cool downs are important for injury prevention and flexibility, but they're also optional in every Chloe Ting's program as far as I know, therefore they're optional 😆
It really won't change much. The workout might feel a little harder in the beginning until your body warms up, but that's about it.
However, when you do have time it is recommended to do them, so after those two weeks you can continue as you did before!

I suggest you not to skip them because it reduces pain and inguries. However it is understandable that you might not have time sometimes to do these 5-10 mins routines so i suggest you to at least stretch your body before and after for a bit. So you can maybe check which parts you are going to workout on the day and focus on those parts. For example you have to do abs workout at least do a cobra stretch after for a few seconds. Hope it helps!!!!

(English is not my native language so I may make mistakes)

I think you should give warming up a chance. Warming up reduces the risk of injury and allows you to do the movements more comfortably. When I first started, I didn't warm up. But now I don't skip warming up even a single day because I really feel like it makes a positive difference. I don't do cool down exercises either 😅 Instead, I take a hot shower and do some slow stretching on my own, it feels really good.
