Is it necessary to walk 10k steps everyday along with the workout routine to see results?
I can only make time for workout routine but ive read many articles that there must be more movement in general and 10k steps is really helpful. But it's very hard to give time for 10k steps because i have a lot of work. Any advice? Any alternative to 10k steps?
Is walking for 15 minutes after each meal a good alternative?

I think 7500 steps in total for a day is enough!

as far as i know, the key to losing weight is calorie deficit. but if you want to toned your body, make sure to do workout regulary. you don't have to do both of them because it will make you super exhausted. the journey should be fun and long term, right?
i follow chloe ting's program, but when it's rest day, i always take a walk but not necessarily 10k steps. hope it helps and hope you understand me, because i'm still learning English! 🙌🏻

The key is to keep moving through out the day, it doesn't necessarily have to be 10k steps, I do 5K Steps + workout + intermittent fasting and it works wonders. Do what's feasible for you, you are already doing better than people who sit around all day and do nothing 🙌

To my understanding, the greatest health benefits kick in around 7-8k steps. You can aim for more as time and energy allow, but - again, to my understanding - it's kind of a diminishing returns sort of situation the more steps you do.

The only thing you really need is a calorie deficit 💕 I dont mind my steps and I still lose at least a pound per week. I've even heard people say you actually really only need 5k steps, but I don't usually even get that. Do what you can, do what's sustainable and will stick💖
Also look at the articles with a critical eye, did the people in it do anything else? What were their eating habits like? Were they already on a weight loss journey or just starting? What was the sample size and demographic? All are important to consider when looking for reputable sources ✨️ (edited)

Ooo thanks! And yes they had a good amount of protein and ate mindfully. I do eat very mindfully and i have pretty much my whole life but because of my culture there's very less protein intake (im also a vegetarian) and it's very hard and EXPENSIVE to find ways to add protein. So that's why my results are a little slow

Ah I'm vegan so I know what you mean! Have you tried lentils? I also heavily rely on tofu for protien

Ahh I've got a brown rice protien powder. But beside that it would be so hard to reach my protien goals with mostly rice. I think even a cup of cooked spinach might have more protien than rice, depending on the variety (edited)

Why did u prefer brown rice protein powder than the plant based ones?

Some of the reviews said it hurt people's stomach less 🤷 I got sample packs of the pea protien ones too, and a flavored one that's my breakfast daily. The brown rice one is neutral and unflavored so I add it to meals whenever I want more protien
