How to eat during 2021 hourglass challenge...

Hey y'all, ive started the 2021 hourglass challenge, just want to know tips on what I should and shouldn't eat for it, and how much I should eat for the hourglass effect to work. Also, has anyone done this challenge and seen results in their abs, waist and glutes especially? Please please let me know, it will be really motivational. Love y'all (edited by moderator)

How to eat will depend on your goals. Are you trying to lose fat? Then you'd need to be in a calorie deficit. Are you trying to build muscle? Then you'd want to be in a calorie surplus.

Typically these are goals with very different strategies. Losing stomach weight (which I assume means fat) requires losing body fat, meaning being at a calorie deficit. But if you're trying to grow your glutes, that's most efficiently done at a calorie surplus.

So for the best results, you'd really want to pick which one you most want to work on right now.
