best workout to be active but doesn’t require much effort?

I just got an abdominal sprain and I hate the idea of being inactive and losing habit. I can walk and I can do many things without feeling hurt because the sprain is in a muscle I don’t usually use for those things. But it hurts when i use my abs for any effort. I want to know if there is a workout that doesn’t involve engaging core or something similar. If there aren't workouts like that, it’s okay, i’ll just go out walking and try to be active in daily things and let my sprain heal. Thank you! !
