Hey, I’m trying to lose weight for my cruise next year! I know it’s a huge goal and I’m nearly 220 pounds now (almost 100 kg) and 5’5. I’d like to be in much better shape in a year. My short-term goal is to be less than 200 by August/September. My long-term goal is to be in the range of 150-175 by next year, like May time.
I don’t really know much about weight loss or calorie deficits, not even if my goals are realistic or not! I’d like some advice on maybe how many calories I should eat every day to be considered in a calorie deficit. I’m currently almost a week in the 2024 Weight Loss program and I believe I am close to losing 3 pounds already!
