For years i haven't been able to do planks or any plank exercises because if I do then my shoulders and my neck start hurting from second 1 of the exercise. I have tried to build shoulder and neck strength but it still doesn't help. I don't think it's an issue of strength but some muscle problem. I am completely able bodied and I'm able to all exercises other than the ones that require my hands to be up or on the side, because that makes my neck hurt. Any help?
