hey everyone! recently i’ve added ankle weights to my workouts as i like using dumbbells but not every workout allows you to use them(like some ab and glute workouts, an example being donkey kicks). i thought that as well as using resistance bands for those exercises like i have for some time, adding that extra weight could help with some results.
so far im loving it, certain workouts that got too easy overtime are feeling challenging again, but i want to know if they are actually useful and if people have gotten results from it.
if they are a good way to add weights to workouts then ill get more for my wrists in a few weeks(i dont want to overexert myself) but if they aren’t beneficial i’ll just look into even stronger resistance bands or only stick to workouts that allow dumbbells. i know that at the end of the day going to a gym is the best way to up your weights and i will have to eventually, its just not the most affordable option!
