I just started going to the gym and I want to know what cardio machine I could use. What are the disadvantages and advantages of each? Why do you like them etc.

My favorite is the Arc Trainer, it’s basically a more challenging elliptical. It really works your legs and butt and burns a lot of calories! I usually burn 300/30 mins on it while increasing resistance every ten minutes. I just pop on a YouTube vid or a twitch stream and have fun with it!

My personal favorite is the elliptical (cross trainer) as it works the arms as well, not just the legs. And it’s also very gentle on your joints. I personally have some knee issues so high impact exercises like running are not the best for me, but you can get the same intensity workout with less impact on the elliptical :) I also enjoy the stationary bikes, but it’s harder to keep a higher intensity pace on them than the elliptical in my opinion, so they’re better after your body’s used to cardio a bit more.

yess this machine is really good, also just a treadmill but walk don’t run as it burns fat more efficiently and you don’t get tired quickly. its also worse for your joints if you jog or sprint rather than walk. if you want something for glutes i’d say stairmaster is really good just really tiring. normally i do an incline walk on a treadmill and i’m able to do that for quite a while. its all up to your stamina as well.
