Glute Activation.

I am doing the Grow a Booy program, and when I do lunges combined with leg raises, I don't feel the burn. Chloe said that if you are not feeling the burn, you can try some glute activation workouts, but I want to know if I need to activate my glutes once or do it every day before I start working out.
