When doing quadruped leg circles/fire hydrants/donkey kicks, I feel like I’m dumping too much weight into the knee that stays on the floor. Once one knee lifts, the base also becomes asymmetrical (the supporting knee ends up under one shoulder, with a large gap to the opposite hand). Is this normal, or should I be shifting my upper body or adjusting my hand placement to re-center the base?
