How Can I Best Track My Weight Loss Progress?
Hey everyone!
Lately, I've realized that I’ve been pretty inactive and feeling lazy, which led to some unexpected weight gain (shoutout to body dysmorphia for keeping it sneaky 😅). But I’m finally getting back on track and making small but meaningful changes!
I’ve started walking more — usually between 6,000 to 10,000 steps a day — and I’ve been staying hydrated (1.5 to 2 liters of water a day, which honestly feels like a miracle for me!). I'm also sticking to a calorie deficit of 1260 calories a day. I’m 25 and classified as “obese” according to BMI.
The good news: I’ve already lost 2kg over the past couple of weeks! 🎉
The not-so-great news: I regained a bit of it recently (probably due to some chips and junk food moments… oops!).
But now, I’m really committed to this journey — I want to feel confident, look great for summer, and take happy photos in my summer clothes that I’ll actually like!
Here’s where I need some advice:
When’s the best time to weigh myself for the most accurate results?
How often should I track my weight — daily, weekly, or something else?
Any tips, routines, or encouragement would mean the world to me right now!
Wishing everyone the best on your own journey too — we’ve got this! 💪✨ (edited by moderator)
