How do you create lasting habits?

I’ve been working out constantly but I’m struggling I have the constant urge to always want to snack and I can’t seem to quit I like eating and it feels like when I’m working out and eating healthy and drinking a lot of water I get off track I allow myself an a treat every now and then but then I end up eating a lot of junky snacks and I feel like I’ve lost ground I don’t know how to quit the snacking I want to lose the weight but I feel like the snacking and soft drinks are preventing me from making the progress I want I just don’t know what else to do 🙁 (edited by moderator)
