Heyyđź’š
I've had pain in my wrist for a while now (2.5 to 3 years already)...
I've been to many doctors and each one diagnosed me with something different (tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, unnoticed fracture, misalignment, etc.). In any case, the current diagnosis is a loose wrist or loose carpal bones. Personally, I think this diagnosis is much more appropriate than the others...Anyway, I'm now having occupational therapy and physical therapy and have to do special exercises to strengthen my wrists.
Have any of you experienced something similar? If so, what did you do about it, and how did you deal with it?
My occupational therapist also told me I shouldn't do push-ups or high planks anymore because they would irritate my wrist and only make my pain worse...
Does anyone know of any good alternatives to such exercises that still correspond to their level/difficulty/impact? (I'm very sporty and enjoy doing sports, including calisthenics, so I'm a bit disappointed or depressed right now)
I would really appreciate your answers, whether here or privately. I just want to be able to continue doing my sport and get rid of my pain...
