Not enough Protein intake

I feel im not getting enough protein in daily will that stop me from becoming toned and build muscle/get stronger? I've tried the protien shake but it gave me a upset stomach each time I drank it.I do have protien in my food but not as much as I should,well the daily intake..

You think this will stop my process to gain muscle?
