Please help (calorie deficit)

Hi, I'm really confused about how many calories I should have per day, I calculated my Tdee and it tells me that I should have 1200-1300 calories to lose weight as my maintenance calories is 1800 (I put the option "light exercise"). The problem is that I've seen a lot of people saying it's bad to eat only about 1200/300 so Idk what to do. I'm 18 years old, 1.59m (5'3ft), 58kg (128lbs), I take about 4k steps a day and I've started the 2025 weightloss challenge recently. Should I continue to eat 1300 calories? Or should I increase my calories intake? Please help me, I'm afraid of slow metabolism.
