Short term goals and milestones

I was just wondering if anyone else sets short terms goals in their fitness journey, especially if you know your ultimate goal will take months or even years, to motivate yourself? Was there any particular moment in your progress that felt like a small victory? For example, hitting a certain weight, being able to do an exercise you couldn't do in the beggining, finishing a workout without breaks, being able to fit into your skinny jeans or anything like that.

For me there was a couple of those over the past few months - first I was able to easily button my ski pants again, then I was able to do reverse table top toe reach that seemed impossible for me in the beginning and yesterday my scale showed 79. 9kg. I have had over 80kg for almost a decade (started doing Chloe Ting when I was 87. 3kg) and despite trying to loose weight multiple times, my weight always plateaued around 82-81 and then I gave up. Even though I still have a long way to go, celebrating milestones like that motivates me so much more.

I'd love to know what milestones were you happy to hit in your journeys, lets share some positive and inspiring stories :)
