Fitness Goals
So I've been working out consistently since I was 17 years old, I'm currently 26, and I've never been able to do a push up. I had some progress in my fitness, I gained some muscle, almost died, loss all my muscle mass, gained some back, I can do stuff that I couldn't, but I never been able to do a full pushup. Went to every professional available to me, and the advice were always the same "just keep practicing until you do it" okay... But it's been 9 years, and I did every pushup available, I did wall pushup, inclined, knees, negative push up, I cannot get out of the wall, and even then, sometimes I can't get the full motion, at this point I don't know what to do. I'm currently going back to yoga, mainly because it calms me down, but like, I can't do a lot of the poses because I can't hold a plank or perform a pushup. I do pilates, I'm considering going back to boxing, I run, I do cycling... I just want to do a pushup and I can't do it. Does anyone have advice?
