Ingredients:
Soya chunks -100g
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Onion - 1 medium
Curry leaves - few (optional)
Cucumber - 1 big (if small cucumber, can use upto 2 to 3)
Salt
Green chilli - according to spice ( eg. 1 or 2)
Red chilli powder- 1tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Method:
Soak soya chunks in hot water for atleast 15 min. Finely Chop onion and curry leaves, green chilli.
Grate cucumber and keep it aside.
Drain the soya chunks by pressing them gently. Then shred them using mixer grinder ( or anything you have to shred ).
In a mixing bowl add shredded Soya chunks. Then to it add grated cucumber along with its water. Add chopped onion, green chilli and curry leaves. And then add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Mix them well. Now add wheat flour. Kneed them well. As cucumber added no water needed.
You can spread it in baking paper.( Season it with oil first then spread the dough using finger)
Or you can also make chapati with the dough.
If you have banana leaves then its the best option.
Cook them in the tawa.. both the sides.. can use ghee/ oil of your choice.
Enjoy protein rich food..
