Strength training while doing the program?

Hi! Im on my 3rd program so far and im wondering if its possible to lift weights either before or after my daily workout? Or is it worth not doing it in case I get burnt out? Im only thinking of adding an extra 20-25mins of llifting. Just would like to do cardio and tone done while still being able to lose a bit of weight. Ill take any recommendations or suggestions, thank you guys:).
