I have a strong suspicion that I'm alone with this, but I'll still post.
Over the last few years I have started and restarted Chloe's workout programs over and over again and literally never finished one. (Yes, there are two completed programs on my profile, but one of them has 9% of the videos completed, the other 25%, I just marked the days complete after that because of team challenges)
I've told myself that I'll finish one with 100% of the videos completed, and I have like 4 days left of my current program.
I keep telling myself that I just need to try the workouts and if I hate it I can stop and that has happened a lot lately.
I've been crying every single time I've worked out with these videos over the past few days, just out of frustration.
It's not even that I can't do the exercises. I can do the exercises, it's hard but possible. I just hate the exercises themselves. I don't understand why like every video is at least 50% abs. Like, videos labeled "HIIT" and "Full body" have over 40% of the exercises being crunches and exercises that also show up in the videos labeled as just "abs".
I genuinely don't understand why that is anymore. I've looked into calisthenics and done those types of workouts before and that's enjoyable, even when it's abs focused.
I just feel like it's spring onto me every day. I start a video I've never done before and it's supposed to be cardio and I'm enjoying it and suddenly the next exercise is a plank with leg raises.
How do y'all deal with this? Am I really alone with feeling that titles, categories and thumbnails make me expect something that the video doesn't deliver?
Silly update: since I stopped the workouts on here I feel a lot better. I am going to the gym 4 times per week now and just lift weights (to reach goals I actually care about). I'm still losing just as much weight as on these programs even though my cardio is way less, I do like way less abs exercises (because when I lift weights I actually need my core for support), but despite being on my period (and feeling bloated) my waist size went down like 5cm since stopping the programs on here.
Basically, do whatever exercises work for you and make you happy. Sticking to it is the main thing. Good luck y'all ^^
