When you're doing an exercise, when do you know that you need to take a break versus pushing yourself through it?
I'm finally nearing the end of the 2019 Lean Thigh challenge, and the workout videos include a 10 minute plank challenge video. I'm still really struggling to complete the video and I do take extra breaks between the plank exercises. I started to wonder if I should be pushing myself through the plank instead of resting. Then I started to wonder how to tell the difference between 'I need a break' and 'I need to push through'!
So I was curious how other people made that decision when they're doing an exercise that feels tough for them. When do you know it's time to take a break? When do you know you need to push your body through the exercise?
