Taking break during luteal and Menstrual Phase

Hi all!
I have observed that I happen to have close to zero energy a week before my periods start and throughout my period cycle. I cant bring myself to do anything let alone get a workout in. Is it normal? Does one lose all the progress made if they cant work out for like 5-7 days a month?
