Honestly, what's your opinion on measuring your progress by weighing yourself? Because I honestly had some... strange experience with it (was like 70 kg or more at 12 years old at 165 sm tall , started my journey at 14, my standard weight became like 56, I started to weight myself almost every day, and than depression came and I started to be even bigger than at 12 years old), but I think now I am actually smaller than my depressive self. But I built-up my muscles, started to not be really scared at "unhealthy" foods. Now I only measure myself with measuring tape, and I'm actually shrinking. But I'm still afraid of the possible number on a scale? What if it is too much? Is it going to affect my journey? Would i stop just because of the number? Am I overreacting? I would like to hear your thoughts on "to scale or not to scale" when it comes to the situations of traumatic past with weighing in.
