Beginner

Two programs in, here’s what I noticed:

Hey everyone!! Just wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone who is just starting out.

I have completed two programs so far:
1. Daily 20
2. 2025 Pilates Core

Both are beginner-friendly and doable time-wise and duration of program-wise.

I still cannot do everything perfectly. I still do wall push-ups, I can’t do up-and-down planks and for the harder exercises I cannot last the full time.

I was being a bit harsh on myself about it, that I didn’t realise all my small wins and progress. One such win for me is:
Side planks!
When I started, I couldn’t even hold the modified/easy version properly. Now I can hold a proper side plank for 10–15 seconds, which might not be a lot for others, but it is progress for me!!

I am trying not to obsessively track weight or measurements. It’s only been a few months, so I am focusing more on:
> how much stronger I feel
> how much longer I can do exercises
> whether I am moving from the low impact to high impact verion
> showing up consistently

If you are a beginner or feeling discouraged because you can’t keep up, please remind yourself that you are not failing. It is a slow process for us beginners, but it is only upwards and stronger from here! 💪
