Weight Loss Programs - At a Glance

I really enjoy looking at the differences between programs and I've done breakdowns for a few different series, so I've started sharing them in case any of you would enjoy discussing them and adding your own perspectives ♡


 Some caveats:
• can't guarantee my data entry is perfect
• does not account for warm-up/cooldown (I often encourage people to pick the ones they like best/have time for rather than the scheduled ones)
• numbers are rounded
• I count anything "full body" as cardio for this type of program
• videos with mixed focus are split between the categories
• this does not account in any way for actual intensity of the videos themselves, it's purely looking at time


 My thoughts:
• all of the programs have roughly the same amounts of core and upper body, with a bit more variation in cardio/full-body and lower body
• 2021, like all 2021 programs, is an absolute vibe; has my favorite cardio video (10 Min Fat Burn); is generally considered pretty beginner-friendly; while it does have the longest average workout days, there's also no more than three workout days in a row
• 2022 has a seven-day workout stretch at the end, which will definitely help it feel more challenging
• 2023, like 2022, will probably feel more challenging because the last two weeks are six-day workout stretches
• 2024 is generally considered the most beginner-friendly of programs, but is notorious for being tough on people with knee issues - not surprising as it does have the most minutes of dedicated lower body
• 2025 has the shortest workout days on average, the least cardio/full-body, and the least lower body, but its videos still seem to help it feel challenging anyway!
