Aerialist starting my journey to strength

Hello! I'm an early 20s nb from WI, USA. MY fitness journey started in 2018 with aerial sports but after some rough life events I fell off the wagon. This year I started consistently training aerial hammock again after not doing it since 2019 and I'm hoping to use these Chloe ting workouts to build strength and cross train. Been pole dancing for 5 years and doing aerial hammock consistently since Jan 2026 after a long break.

I'm 5'4, 225lb, Size 20 US/plus size 1X. I hope to lose some weight although that's not my focus right now. Over all weight loss goal is 155lb but I want to get to 175 by 24.

My TRUE goals are strength goals. By the end of the 2026, I want to be able to do 10 push ups, 10 pull ups, 5 mins at a conversational running pace. I want my hips and lower back to stop hurting. I want to build my shoulder flexibility enough to do the finger tip touch on both sides without pain.

I want to build my grip enough to do an aerial hold on hammock for 30 seconds. And although not my main focus apparatus, I want to get my proper pole invert and pole climb (which I've been training on and off for the last 2 years now).

I just finished my 1st workout today and I'm excited to make progress!

Any other pole dancers or aerialists in the group?
