Beginnings
I've known Chloe Ting for a long time and recently got back to complete one of her programs. I've realized that's I've gotten stronger, have been able to adapt better during her workouts, and lost a bit of weight in the process. It wasn't easy at first since I haven't done a proper workout in almost two years now, but I want to adress something I've been seeing:
Lots of people have amazing results on this app, but I always see people asking how they do it, what they eat, and what their lifestyle is. It might sound obvious to some, but I think people need to understand that they need to be realistic about these goals. Not everyone starts at the same level. You might complete the same challenge as me and not see much progress in your first month.
Most people discourage themselves and give up too easily when they shouldn't. If it doesn't work out in your first try, it doesn't mean you're incapable of growing. There also isn't a cheat code to success, nor is there a specific program to make you have abs in a week. It's all about consistency and how hard you're willing to put in the effort. If you can't do it on your first try, take it easier on yourself and in control until you can fully adapt. These people who have worked for their bodies show up and grind for it. They were just like you when they first started.
You can't have a healthy body if you aren't giving it the right resources and activity. People overcomplicate about what they eat and what they should do. They try out different fat loss diets and constantly switch programs when they don't see their vision. It's extremely unhealthy and restrictive when you're limiting yourself for no reason. This is the reason why a lot of people become so insecure about themselves and are prone for disorder. I'm speaking from experience so that you don't have to go through the same path.
The most important part is to find balance in your life. There's nothing to overthink about—eat healthier and put a bit of effort every day. If you can't commit to a full hour, at least do it for a less amount of time until you're comfortable, and slowly push yourself even more. Love yourself and your diet. You don't have to make salads every single day; make something that suits your goals and turn it into something you like. There's tons of recipes out there; don't restrict yourself to obsession. Don't wait to start when you feel motivated, you need to start now. If I were to rely on my mood, I would never accomplish my goals. It's about discipline and showing up even when you don't feel like it. Things like this don't come easy.
You can do it, too.
