Mid Year Journey
I started doing CT three months (30 min a day, 5 to 6 days a week) ago via YT and did random videos in a haphazard way. Finally downloaded app and excited to start the structured challenges.
I have been on a one week hiatus since I strained my lower back doing a strength workout (not CT). Thankfully it is better and I have been able to walk in lieu of mat work. Getting ready to start up again tomorrow with my first structured challenge. Any recs particular challenges that are a little easier on the back? I was going to avoid the core challenges for now and am considering the 2018 summer shred.
Starting weight is 107 and inches (smallest part of waist) is 26.75. I am vertically challenged at 5 feet 0, so my weight is well in healthy range. My typical, happy weight is 102-105 but since I started strength training in the past month, my weight bumped up a couple lbs probably bc of sore muscles and inflammation. In general though in my adult life my weight has stayed within a 10lb range (100lbs-110lbs) outside of pregnancies.
Sharing some swimsuit pics.
Goals now are:
To tone (ab definition) and stay lean.
Flattening my lower belly pooch would be nice, but after a couple children,.stretch marks and age 53 in meno, I'm not sure how realistic that is.
I don't want to become a frail old lady but I also don't like heavy strength training. (Maybe because I injured myself doing it too!) Will prefer to stick to resistance training using body weight for now.
I'd like to maintain my weight range of 102-105lbs.
Would like to.shavr off an inch from my waist; 26 would be nice.
Will plan on posting before and after pics and measurements after each challenge.
