Yesterday my roommate took me shopping for bras. My wife and I have an anniversary coming up as well a her birthday this week and the only bras I own that fit are sports bras. I really want to put together some cute fits, but no bras and ill fitting clothes make it hard right now to feel cute. Bras seemed like a good first step.  She was able to help me figure out what size I am and how to fit it since my body is so different now. 

I kept looking at them going is that how small i am? I don't think that's going to work, all the bands looked small, all the cups looked enormous, what do I do with my extra skin? I tried on different styles, padded, no padding, half padding, push up, no push, full coverage and whatever else and settled on a soft lace no padding style and got 2 of them. 

At one point I told my friend I wasn't sure if i should be happy or cry it was all so emotionally confusing. It was really nice to actually find bras in a store that fit well instead of ordering from specialty shops online and just hoping for the best. 

I was previously 42DD/44D....yesterday I left the store with 34Ds and could have gotten into 32DD, but they didn't have the styles I liked in that size. Wrapping my head around being smaller that I've ever been in my life is a crazy wild emotional trip.
