Beginnings
I just learned about Chloe Ting so I just downloaded her app and tried some workouts the last week and a half. I started the 2020 hourglass challenge and I'm enjoying it so far. I'm a huge fan of the stretching at the end!
I work in healthcare, so I was really relieved to see that if you miss a workout day, it just logs it as an extra rest day ... So my "rest" days so far have just been 12 hour shifts on my feet haha
For the sake of consistency, and curiosity, since I'm starting out after not working out for a year, I think following her workouts for a while will be really beneficial to build a habit of working out, and feel the results of moving my body, to have more energy!
I used to do Caroline Girvan's workouts. I completed Iron and Fuel back to back. But I didn't notice much change with my body doing those, except becoming much stronger. I'd like to find a way to combine Caroline's strength training with Chloe's abs and booty. Caroline seems to lack ab workouts, she only did it a little bit during each program. And that's not enough to build a strong core, the only way to get the strong core is to do Caroline's bonus work outs at the end of each day, which is already 35+ minutes.. I didn't have time so I didn't do them.
Chloe seems to lack strength training, and really focuses on having a more feminine figure. I think finding a way to do them both would work really well for my goals, I want to be feminine but strong and healthy. My body is naturally weak and I don't naturally have any strength without workouts, it's embarrassing. I also find it very difficult to build strength to begin with.
The only thing my body seems to be naturally good at is cardio, I can't lift heavy stuff .. but at least I can run and run and run without getting winded. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, but I want my weaknesses to be less weak 😆
