Motivation

GAINED body fat % over 2-week challenge…could use some emotional support

I could really use some kind and supportive words right now. Today is the last day of my first Chloe Ting challenge. It was two weeks and I did all the workouts consistently, except the last two days when I had a migraine so I did the low-impact versions instead of the regular exercises. I’ve been so careful with tracking my food as well and getting enough protein and not too many calories.

This morning I weighed myself and I have GAINED fat. My weight went up 2 pounds and I gained 1% body fat (it’s not muscle or water retention…my scale tracks those too). Yes, that’s not a lot, but it’s incredibly frustrating and depressing to put in this work and not only lose no fat, but actually gain fat. (For perspective, I usually only gain fat when I overeat, and like I said, I have been sooo careful these two weeks.)

I am really struggling to stay motivated right now. If you have any words that could help me emotionally or mentally, I would love to hear it. 💙
