1 Year+ Journey

1 Year+ Journey

One year.

One year ago today, I went to a trail room and nothing fit. I made a promise to myself, that next time I come here I will fit in the clothes I pick. Yesterday I went to the same brand and picked a lot of things and guess what everything fit.

The point is not that I fit in the clothes. It is supposed to be the other way around. The clothes should fit you. But this was a major victory for me because I kept the promise I made to myself a year ago.
Now im 20kgs lighter. I am fit and healthy. So much more confident.

This past year has taught me so much. So to the people who are starting their journey today. I want to tell you that it works and you can do this.

Things I learnt.
1. Intensity doesn't matter you have to be consistent
2. No type of workout is wrong. If you do one video when there were 2. It counts! Because you pushed when you didn't want to. On days you just walk or dance that counts too.
3. Mindset plays an important role. Don't put a clock on your progress. Just keep going. You will definitely see results even when they are a little slow.
4. Life will happen. You will have to go out and sometimes it will become hard to follow the discipline. But remember no matter what the scale says after the break, you need to ignore it and start again.
5. Diet doesnt mean starving yourself. Once you stop reaching for the takeout and focus on home cooked meals, you can manage the calories easily.

My journey so far has been a roller-coaster. Some times I was very disciplined and on the other days I didn't want to do anything. Sometimes I had to break my diet because of work trips. But the stubbornness is what kept me going.

I still have a long journey ahead of me. But on day one I wrote on my bio "aggressively manifesting consistency" qnd trust me I did.

Lets go!!!
