 I made a traditional Algerian flatbread called Mhadjeb — but with a healthy twist! 🌿
It’s rich in fiber, light, and super satisfying.
Dough Ingredients:
• Whole wheat flour (T150)
• Water
• A pinch of salt
• 1 tbsp olive oil
Filling Ingredients:
• Onion (finely chopped)
• Tomato (grated or chopped)
• Green pepper (diced)
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp olive oil
How I made it:
1. Mixed the dough and let it rest.
2. Cooked the veggie filling with olive oil and salt.
3. Rolled the dough thin, filled it, folded it, and cooked until golden.
I only had one piece - just enough to enjoy it without feeling guilty later!
