Healthy black sesame ladoo

Here is the recipe


 
🌿 Black Sesame Balls (Ellu Urundai) – Recipe & Women's Health Benefits

🥣 Ingredients:

Black sesame seeds – 100g

Jaggery or brown sugar – as needed add 4-5tbs


Ghee – optional (1 tsp, if you like)




 
🔥 How to Make It:

1. Dry Roast the Seeds:

Take a pan and add the black sesame seeds.

Roast them on very low flame until they start to pop lightly.

Turn off the stove and let it cool down for a few minutes.



2. Grind with Sweetener:

Add the cooled sesame seeds into a mixer.

Add jaggery or brown sugar.

Grind well until the mixture becomes sticky (due to sesame oil released).



3. Cool and Shape:

Let the mixture rest in the mixer for a while — it will be slightly hot.

Once cooled, take small amounts and roll into balls (or any shape you like).



4. (Optional) Add Ghee:

If you prefer, you can add a little ghee while grinding.

But it's not necessary, because sesame oil itself makes the mixture soft and sticky.



5. Store:

Keep the balls in a clean airtight container.

You can store for up to 1 week at room temperature.
