This chocolate banana protein baked oats is a warm, satisfying option for breakfast or lunch. Made with oats, ripe banana, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips, it’s naturally sweet and packed with flavour. Adding a scoop of protein powder gives it a nutritional boost, making it ideal for a filling, high-protein meal.
Easy to prepare and made with simple ingredients, it’s perfect for a balanced meal that feels like a treat.
Ingredients (makes 2):
50g Oats
1 Banana
2 Eggs
120ml Almond Milk (or milk of choice)
2 heaping tbsp Cocoa Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
100g Dark Chocolate Chips (or chocolate chips of choice)
1 tbsp Chocolate Brownie Protein Powder (or protein powder of choice)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease two ramekins or similar oven-safe baking dishes.
2. Add all ingredients except chocolate chips to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and fully combined.
3. Pour the batter evenly between the baking dishes and top with chocolate chips.
4. Bake for 15 minutes until risen and the top is slightly crinkled.
The protein powder is totally optional for these but adding it makes this a super easy high protein meal to make! Approx 20g protein per serving!
