Hi everyone! đ I hope I correctly translated the name of this dish. In fact, itâs baked cottage cheese with eggs, if anyone doesnât know. I never understood this dish until I made it myself. I always got some kind of mush...đźâđš but now I just love this high-protein dish (I didnât count the calories, honestly, I was too lazy).
The recipe is essentially simple. For 1 serving you will need:
â 180 grams of cottage cheese
â 1 egg
â 1 tablespoon of semolina (it is important that it is not flour, to preserve the airiness of the texture, although I think you can experiment)
â 1 tablespoon sugar or any sweetener
â 1 tablespoon of sour cream (heavy cream, I think, would work too)
â 1 tablespoon of butter (although recently I do it with a vegetable oil)
â flavoring is optional (I made it without it)
According to the recipe, you need to grease a heat-resistant form with butter or vegetable oil, sprinkle with semolina. In a separate bowl, mix cottage cheese, egg(s), sugar, flavoring. Transfer to a baking form, grease with sour cream on top. Honestly, I mix everything at once and pour it in filling the form. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 40 minutes, depending on your oven.
In mine, which is photographed, 4.5 portions, I baked it for an hour. It depends on the thickness and volume of the resulting dish. Also this time I tried to mix cottage cheese and ricotta, you can also use only ricotta instead of cottage cheese. It turns out more airy. Also, the more grated the cottage cheese is, the airier the casserole will be.
So yummy đ
