I've been thinking to share this for a while, to inspire you and myself that hard work pays off, even when you need to take a break, or when life has another plans for you!
My fitness journey began in 2019 with Chloe Ting’s workouts and intermittent fasting. I was determined to make a change, and by 2022, I had lost a significant amount of weight and felt the fittest I’d ever been—strong, confident, and proud of how far I had come.
But life had other plans.
In Aug. 2023, I suffered from a lower back infection that completely halted my ability to work out. I wasn't able to move for months, and believe it or not, I didn't even know the reason for it until now, I just took my medications and become better. On top of that, I was stuck in a toxic job environment that drained me mentally and emotionally, while I was a Master's student putting me under a lot of pressure. It felt like everything I’d worked so hard for was slipping away, and eventually, I gained the weight back.
Now, in 2025, I’m here again. Not as someone starting fresh, but as someone rising again—wiser, more patient, and stronger in ways I never expected. This time it’s not just about weight loss, it’s about healing, rebuilding, and reclaiming my power.
To anyone else starting over: you’re not starting from nothing. You’re starting from experience. Let’s do this—one day, one workout, one choice at a time. ✨️
