Life Advice
Hi everyone! I have a question based on your personal experiences.
Has anyone noticed that correcting vitamin deficiencies or taking supplements (only if you were actually deficient) helped with your weight loss journey or made it easier to lose weight? I'm not asking if they magically burn fat, but whether they improved your energy, workouts, recovery, or overall progress.
I've never had my vitamin levels checked, but where I am from it's very common for people to have vitamin D deficiency, From what I've read, vitamin D deficiency is especially widespread here despite the sunny weather, mainly because many people spend most of their time indoors, avoid direct sun due to the heat, wear clothing that covers much of the skin, have obesity (which can lower circulating vitamin D), or don't get enough vitamin D from their diet.
I'm curious about real experiences before I consider getting tested even though I have to either ways. Did treating a deficiency make any noticeable difference in your weight loss, energy levels, or motivation to exercise?
