I have noticed over the last year of getting back into fitness that I have the best workouts if I put on a cute workout outfit (not advocating for buying tons of new stuff - most of this stuff is old I just pick out my best looking sets or brightest sports top) and sometimes I will actually put on makeup before I go to the gym or go to my "home gym" aka my fitness mat in the spare room. I don't use tons of super heavy stuff - I never do foundation, but I will use mascara, eyeshadow, do my eyebrows and sometimes a lip pencil or gloss.
Do you feel like dressing up or looking good makes you feel like you're having a better workout? I don't do this every day but on the days I do I swear it makes a difference. I used to think it was crazy when people showed up to the gym looking like they were ready for a photoshoot but I'm now a full believer in the look good feel good philosophy!
