TW for food struggles maybe? Idk if TWs are a thing here or if this post will even stay up, I just have nobody in my personal life to share this with. To be very vague, I have a health condition that restricts my ability to intake and retain nutrients. It’s a rare functional GI disorder and ultimately I cannot consume even a single meal normally. I’m just a bit sad because obviously proper nutrition is super important for building muscle and having energy, and I’m trying to improve my mental and physical health on my fitness journey. But I couldn’t eat if I wanted to, and I do want to. I would love to be more muscular, but I feel like I’m constantly fighting my body and I’m not winning. I’m usually too exhausted to finish the workouts if they’re any longer than 15 minutes and it’s just a bit demoralizing because I want to feel better. Are there any other chronically ill people here who can relate?
