How to help others learn about health & exercise

This one goes out to all the young girls who make posts worried about not seeing results have working out for one week, or who don’t understand your weight fluctuates DAILY due to water weight and your bowel movements, ect.

I know our society and culture puts so much pressure on looking a certain way, and even if you don’t feel pressure from others, you may feel it from yourself internally. But it’s frustrating to see these young girls get discouraged because they don’t understand the biochemical processes their bodies are undergoing. They’ll exercise for up to an hour every single day without understanding how to be healthy. I was there once too, I remember being 13-14 and seeing influencers post about a K-pop idol workout that grows abs in one day or influencers claiming you could loose weight in just a week. My frustration is with the fact that these workout routines and videos are so widely popular and accessible - yet EDUCATION about what a healthy workout routine is, nutrition, and the full understanding of exercising is so out of reach for young people.

Ive always really really loved Chloe because she addresses and talks about these things, offering recipes and talking about protein intake, or her little comments through videos like “and remember, you have to eat for it to work”. Even so, day after day these forums are filled with comments from people who frankly don’t seem to know what they’re getting into. We all start somewhere I try to do be helpful and share education, but it sometimes feels like fighting a loosing battle. What can we do to make sure young people doing these challenges understand they won’t see results for weeks and what habits to practice in order to be healthy?
