. I started to semi-like this guy around June maybe late may, when I was still in school, but around the end of June  my friend had confessed to me that she liked the guy I semi-liked at the time. my friend then proceeded to tell me that she liked him since 6th grade. For context, In the 6th grade the two had dated but she broke up with him, and for the next 2 years she went on to date someone else and "talk" with other people. She even posted on her spam how much she liked a boy she went on a two man with.  After she told me she liked him I didn't know what to say because I was in the beginning of liking him, so I played it off by just supporting her crush. Me personally I never really admit I like a guy till I'm completely over him or till I find out he likes me, and that's why I ever mentioned me liking him and probably won't ever.  Me and this guy even if not in a romantic way have just been talking like spending hours a day just texting or sending TikTok's. we've had multiple times were we stayed up past 1 texting each other, and where also each others number 1 best friends on snap.  I know I probably sound like a fake friend, but I'm starting to really like this guy, and want pursue something.  What should I do? because I don't think I could stop liking him but I don't want to lose a friendship with my best friend.
