I’m in tears right now
Hi everyone. I’m 18, 5’4 and weigh 72.1kg. My whole life I’ve been the “bigger one” out of my sisters, despite being younger than them. They don’t say anything bad towards me, but extended family have made slight remarks here and there. So today I’ve decided that I want to make a change. Not to impress them, but to feel healthier and overall more confident in myself. I tried out Chloe Ting’s workouts back in COVID for like 3 days and already began to see progress so it only made sense to come back to it. Then I found out about this app. And can I just say.. I love it. You all here are so so supportive it makes me so emotional. I don’t doubt that you guys will be a reason for me sticking to and achieving my goals. Your words of encouragement, progress pics, tips and just so much more are insane to me. Thank you so much on behalf of everyone who you guys have helped. This community is amazing. I’ve decided to start with the 2024 weight loss challenge. I was debating between this and summer shred 2024 but ended up choosing this one as the workouts are shorter. I have never worked out consistently in my life so I think it’s better to start off slow. I plan on doing the summer shred after this. I would love to start today but that would make my rest days fall on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I need them to fall on Saturdays and Sundays because that’s when everyone is home. I feel embarrassed to work out when people are watching just in case they pity me. I don’t want pity. I also don’t want anyone to know I’m insecure about my shape rn, hence the anonymous name. But hopefully I start on Monday guys wish me luck!! (edited by moderator)
