Is it normal? . i believe that friendship happens without trying to hard to fit in etc.. i am actually comfortable with being alone but sometimes i feel like its weird or wrong or i feel left out. They're kind to me. We talk sometimes but they have their own friend groups and i'm not interested in them to hang out with them. 

I just dont like to follow the typical group leader all the time its embarassing to me.
