Have you lost motivation due to body-shaming?

Not really looking for advice since I've already decided on how to handle this, but please feel free to share your own experiences down below. I just really want to share these with someone. . .

Hey! I'm a 21yo woman and I've gained some weight because of some medication I've started taking that had an increace of appetite as a side-effect. I've changed the medicine now, but still working on losing the weight. Unfortunately, I had to face some really insensitive behaviors from family members, with my dad telling me 'you' ve gotten fat' while laughing really hard at me, and my grandpa telling me I've gained weight and I should be careful in the most judmental way he could, even after I tried avoiding the 'you've gained weight' comment with an 'And? ' (as if I wasn't really hurt).
What sucks is that I was starting to feel okay with how I look, even liking my curves and I was working out to be healthy, not skinny. But now all I could think during my workout was those comments and I felt like crying, super unmotivated. Ended up going full low-impact and I even gave up on the second video of the day because I just wanted to stop thinking about those comments.
I don't want to give up completely, but now not only do I feel bad for how I look, but also for giving up the workout. Have you guys ever been in a situation like this? How do you handle comments like those? (edited by moderator)
